Marko Spalatin (1945) immigrated to the United States from Croatia in the mid 1960s. Spalatin’s work is included in the permanent collection of the MoMA, Musée d’Art Moderne, and the Tate Gallery, among others.

From the artist: "My work represents a continuous involvement with abstract geometric forms defined by careful manipulation of color and light. The relationship between form and color within the pictorial field demands a visually symbiotic presence. "
